What is my approach?
My goal is to keep photographing your wedding simple and stress-free for you both, so you can fully enjoy your special day.
I've been told I have a friendly, down-to-earth demeanor that puts guests at ease, and I've been known to bring out smiles even from the grumpiest family member. As someone who is very camera-shy, I tend to work best with couples who feel similarly to myself!
How much do I charge?
I understand how stressful it is to find a suitable photographer for your day. The amount of choice can feel overwhelming.
That's why I'm happy to offer a transparent and honest pricing structure; no hidden costs, no surprises. I hope this helps narrow and save you valuable time in your search for a wedding photographer.
All wedding packages include the following:
- Pre-wedding consultations and planning - I pride myself in getting to know my clients before the big day. This makes our time together feel comfortable & natural.
- High-resolution, individually edited photos - I handpick & edit every photo. This is included in all pricing packages below.
- Private online photo gallery - your photos will always be available in a beautiful online gallery, private to you, your family & friends. You can download your full-size images at any time. No more searching the drawers for that misplaced USB key.
- A release to print and share your final photos - watch out for sneaky post-wedding sales tactics. I will not surprise you with a fee to "unlock" your photos or remove a watermark.

Where are you based and do you travel?
Etive Photography is based in Oban on the west coast of Scotland, with another office in Cardiff, Wales. I frequently travel all over the UK for photography work.
How do we book?
If you're interested in one of my packages or want a custom quote, simply reach out with your details. I'm happy to meet in person or online to chat about wedding plans.
Once we connect, I'll secure your wedding date and send a final quote. If you're satisfied with the details, I'll provide an electronic contract and invoice for a 20% deposit to finalize your booking, with a hassle-free, paperless process. Easy!
How many pictures will we receive?
The number of images you receive varies based on your booking time. For weddings with 6-8 hours of coverage, expect 400-600 edited images. And for 2 hours of coverage, you'll receive a minimum of 100 edited images. Note: This does not include engagement session photos, which are taken on a separate day.
When will we get our photos?
You'll receive a custom online gallery with all your wedding photos within 4-6 weeks after the big day (sometimes sooner depending on the season). You can easily download the full-quality images from your private gallery and share them with loved ones. Plus, you can mark your favorites and order prints directly from the gallery, delivered right to your door.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, split payment options are available. A 10% deposit is required to secure your booking. After that, we can arrange a payment plan for the balance, such as 50% due on the wedding day and the remaining 50% due 30 days later.
Change of plans, can you refund our deposit?
Booking with Etive Photography requires a 20% deposit. If you cancel 30 or more days before the wedding, the deposit will be refunded. However, if you cancel less than 30 days before the wedding, the deposit is non-refundable.
